Educational Essay: Choosing the Right Career Path
Choosing a career path can help you set professional goals and develop a strategy for getting where you want to be. Part of choosing an appropriate career path involves making an honest self-evaluation of your talents, abilities and interests. While elements of your path may change over time due to choice or circumstance, having an overall professional objective with which to guide yourself will help you make critical decisions with greater clarity.
When you have an idea of the career path you want to pursue, it can help you make the best decisions about your training and education. Many lines of work require specific degrees and certifications, which can take years to pursue. Understanding the requirements of your chosen path will allow you to plan to prepare yourself for the career you want.
A career path is just that – a journey, rather than a single one-time decision. Every career path has milestones along the way. For example, if you want to pursue a career as a chef, you may start working in a restaurant busing tables when you’re in high school, working as a waiter in college, attending a culinary arts school and then taking an entry-level job as a prep chef. Understanding the chronological steps of a career path will help you make decisions about how to go about building experience and working your way through the ranks of your chosen occupation.
When you choose a career path, you position yourself to look far into the future at your ultimate objectives. This can help you identify positions you want to hold and income levels you want to achieve. It can also help to guide you in building your personal and professional networks in the industry in which you’re interested. Having long-term goals in place will help you stay focused on your ultimate career objectives, rather than moving aimlessly from job to job.
Your choice of profession can dictate where you live and may affect if and when you marry and have a family. Choosing a career path can help you make other important life decisions. Achieving a satisfactory work-life balance can be a challenge for many professionals, but career planning can help to minimize some of this stress.

Educational Essay: The Benefits of Studying Abroad
If you want to learn about someone walk a mile in their shoes. What greater way is there to understand another culture's point of view than studying abroad? Studying abroad is a life changing opportunity that benefits not only you but our nation and the world.
Sure, you have read about other cultures in books and seen them on television but that does not compare to the feeling that you will get when you throw yourself into another culture. Break away from your cultural norms and experience what it is like for those that live in other countries. Interact with another culture and break the cultural barriers that you have had your whole life. Become more independent and reflect on what it means to be who you are. Leave your home behind and experience a new world outside the one you are familiar with and you may begin to view yourself and your culture in a new light.
Think of what studying abroad can do for your career. Studying abroad is so much fun you will forget that you are gaining academic credit while visiting another country. Not to mention the knowledge and experience that can help you succeed in future career options. The studying abroad experience is a great addition to any resume and can help you snag the job of your choice. Employer's desks are covered with stacks of applications but your experience from studying abroad will set you apart from other well qualified applicants.
Our nation is hurting because of our ignorance of the different cultures around us. As college students we can start a trend and begin to rid the United States of cultural ignorance. Study abroad and show how accepting the American people can be. People in other countries who meet you form their views of America so while studying abroad helps our nation to gain a better understanding of other cultures, it also helps others better understand the United States thus preventing world conflicts.
Try to picture a world where people are not allowed to leave the country that they are born in. Imagine the consequences we would face if we ignored the world around us. Lack of knowledge and understanding of other cultures could lead to disaster. Every culture benefits from the values, beliefs, traditions, and experiences of other cultures. The world is a better place when there is understanding among different cultures. Therefore, if you study abroad you can be an essential part of keeping the world together.

Educational Essay: A Life Without A Good Education
A job without an education is like a man on drugs: it’s not a great combination. How are you going to know how to flip burgers on a grill at McDonalds? Furthering your education after high school is very important if you want to live a good life while providing for your family. Getting a high paying job is also important. Continuing your education after high school is important because you need to get a good job, know how to survive on your own without the help of your parents, and be knowledgeable about life while knowing what to do/what not to do.
First of all, how in the world do you think, with the way our governments are running this country, you’re going to survive with an eighth grade dropout diploma? Sorry but you’re not. Going to college or trade school and taking those extra few years of learning is not going to kill you, it’s going to help you. Nowadays, managers are looking for people with a full education to work for them, particularly the good jobs. Plus once you get a good job, you will get good money, and once you have good money, you can make it rain and provide for your family.
Second of all, let’s be real. We all know you do not want to live your life when your 45 years old in your parents basement. Who would want to do that? Your parents can’t hold your hand when you get in trouble or you get fired. You’re not a little kid anymore. You’re a big boy/girl! You need to know how to provide for yourself and college can do that, specifically if you’re living in a dorm room without your parents. I’m sure you will learn the skills of saving money, buying food, shopping, many of the little things your parents used to do for you. Everybody needs to be able to teach their kids right from wrong; I mean I don’t think you want them to grow up being drug attics or alcoholics. I believe college is where most drug related incidents happen, but if you know how to how to say no, they will too!
In conclusion, furthering your education after high school is very important, you need to live your life independently and I think college can do that. Learning to live your life without the help of your parents is also important. Lastly, being a real man is another reason. So what I’m saying is that continuing your education after high school is the key to life because you need to get a good job, know how to survive on your own without your parents, and finally to be knowledgeable about life, like what to do/not what to do.

Any Essay: Ohana means FAMILY!
Family, a word that so many know, but only few understand. The definition of family in the Webster dictionary is, a house hold, ones own spouse, parents and children. What does family mean to you? Some may say friendship, love, and joy; while others say pain, agony, and anger. My family is my support system, my mother, aunts, and cousins all provide me with some type of support or guidance. To me family means love, friendship, and support.
Love is something that everyone knows about whether is receiving love or giving love. It is a feeling that no human being can live without, my family feels love is a big issue. I my life time there were situations that arose that I would not have made it through without my family. When two of my closest friends died within weeks of each other my aunt took off work so that she could be with me during my time of grief. When I broke up with boyfriends or had big fights my family was always there to comfort me and tell me that they love me. The love a family member gives whether a wife, husband, child, or cousin is a love like no other. Not everyone feels the same way, in some families loved ones are judged on their actions, and are not shown love when they need it the most. All families should have this golden rule: "No matter what choices that you make in life you are still family and we will always love you. All the reasons and examples above all show why family means love to me.
Friendship, is a very important word in any relationship, but especially big in family. In my opinion family members should all be friends, in order to have that close family bond, and for family members to confide and trust each other. How often do we confide in someone who is not a friend, and someone that can't be trusted? All those times when you felt that you were sad because you failed a test, or got in trouble at school. Did it cross your mind to confide in a stranger or talk it out with a family
